Licences required under legislation
Different types of licences are required to undertake work or conduct training as a provider at a workplace

Electrical licences
You must be licenced before undertaking electrical work

Electrical worker licences
Electrical work licence (permit holders), electrical work licence (for an apprentice), electrical work licence (other than apprentice), restricted work licence/permit (other than apprentice)

Electrical contractor licences
Qualification requirements for technical and business people, approved courses

Workplace Health and Safety Officers
Businesses over 30 employees require a WHSO in the workplace, what training is required

Construction safety induction (30215QLD)
30215QLD course is compulsory to get your blue card before you can do construction work or enter a construction workplace

Scaffolding, dogging and rigging licences
Scaffolding and rigging have three levels of licences from basic, intermediate and advanced; dogging has one type of licence

Cranes and hoists licences
Tower, derrick, portal boom and bridge or gantry cranes, elevating work platforms, truck mounted have different assessment requirements to attain your licence

Load shifting licences
Front end loader, backhoe, bridge or gantry crane with load exceeding 5 tonne, forklift

Pressure equipment licences
Boiler operation, turbines, reciprocating steam engines
