Free electrical safety forums in Far North, North and Central Queensland
'Working on or near exposed live electrical parts'

If you live in Far North, North or Central Queensland, come along to our free forums in October and November.

If you prefer, you can download a copy of the Working with and near live electrical parts - safety forum presentation (506 KB).

Do you work, supervise or manage electrical work? Do you supervise people in control of facilities where electrical work is performed? If you do, then this forum is for you.

The Electrical Safety Office is hosting more forums in October and November 2009 for electrical workers, safety managers and their employers to learn about and discuss the need to work safely with and around electricity.

The forums are an opportunity for all those associated with the electrical industry to recognise the risks and identify the solutions for working around live electrical parts.

These facilitated forums will introduce you to the legal requirements for and discuss practical ways for safe electrical work including:

It's also the perfect forum to discuss issues relevant to you, learn from others and have your say on electrical safety in Queensland.
