Satisfying the eligibility requirements for an electrical contractor licence
Sections 40-42 of the ESR 2002 require that for an electrical contractor licence to be issued the applicant must:
- have at least one qualified business person and one qualified technical person (this can be the same person);
- satisfy the prescribed financial and insurance requirements; and
- satisfy the chief executive that the electrical work is performed by a qualified technical person or supervised by a qualified technical person.
