Application on the basis of mutual recognition
As mutual recognition applies to individuals carrying on an occupation only individuals or partnerships consisting of individuals, who are registered in another state or territory or NZ in their own name may apply on this basis. Whilst mutual recognition is not applicable to companies, the qualified persons of interstate or NZ electrical contracting companies can be nominated as the qualified technical person (QTP) or qualified business person (QBP) on a Queensland electrical contractor licence application on the basis of mutual recognition.
