Preface
The national restricted electrical licence (NREL) system for obtaining restricted electrical licences was developed for use throughout all States and Territories in Australia.
This information guide sets out general details of the system and, in particular, the training and assessment requirements for applicants for various types of restricted electrical licences in Queensland.
It should assist employers and prospective applicants in assessing the effort required to obtain a restricted electrical licence and the scope of work that can be performed.
