Electrical Safety Office skills maintenance course

This on-line training package contains both the skills maintenance course materials and examinations that are required under the Electrical Safety Act 2002 for electrical workers to renew their Queensland electrical work licences of any category.

The relevant sections of the following documents are referred to in the course material. Sections of these are included in Adobe Acrobat format (excluding the Wiring Rules). However you may wish to refer to a printed copy of the document.

The course is separated into parts, at the completion of each part of study there is a multiple choice examination. The instructions for completing each examination and the pass requirements are outlined at the beginning of each examination.

If you do not achieve a pass for an examination, there is an option to view a summary page of areas to review. This page is temporarily generated by your results and cannot be saved or viewed after you have exited the examination session. Therefore, it is strongly recommended you print this page for future reference.

You can attempt the examination as many times as necessary to achieve a passing result. When you have successfully completed each examination a certificate will be generated as a record of successful completion.

The certificate forms part of the support documentation for your licensing renewal application.
